Here Goes Nothing.

This post is going to be me. Completely vulnerable. Completely real.

Bear with me. Please read to the end. There's a point. I promise.

I am going to take this post to rant.

I'm tired of hypocrites. Of people who say one thing and do another. Who claim to be real and genuine, but are two-faced and deceptive.

I'm tired of people who concern themselves with little things. With drama. With other people's lives. With things that, quite frankly, DON'T MATTER.

I'm tired of stubborn people.

I'm tired of people who do things just so they can take credit for it.

I'm tired of people who think they're experts, whether they are or not.

I'm tired of people who think they're 'all that' and think the world revolves around them.

Of people who don't care.

Of people who are disrespectful.

Of people who don't keep promises. Or aren't aware of the pain they're causing you.

And I think these things and the list can go on and on and I let it and I realize:

Geez. I fit into these categories. I wonder why people aren't sick of me yet. Because, despite my love for people, there are those days (in some cases...many, many days) when I get fed up and tired of them.

My patience runs short, but my God's patience runs for an eternity. He is slow to anger, abounding in love.

I don't understand this love, but I want it. Not just for it to be shown toward me, but for me to show toward others. Because living life with a limited amount of patience, is, well, not a joy. It's not the kind of life I was called to have.

[Heal my heart and make it clean/Open up my eyes to the things unseen/Show me how to love like You have loved me/Break my heart for what breaks Yours/Everything I am for Your Kingdom's cause/As I walk from earth into eternity]

I love that song because it encompasses my prayer for my mindset. My patience. My love.

I'm glad I'm not God, because if I was, the whole earth would have been completely annihilated a long time ago. I'm glad I have a God who loves me, separates my sins as far as the east is from the west, shows me mercy, grace, and patience. Because I could never do that. I could never show that kind of love to people.

I hope that through my failings, you see that love and grace in me. Through me. All over me.

I apologize for when I haven't shown it.

And hope you forgive me and will still be my friend :)

Yay.
